The design was conceived from its site which straddles two separate and different neighborhoods: a quiet residential area surrounding Gramercy Park, an enclosed and private garden, and the bustling commercial space around Madison Square Park, a public park that hosts an array of activities.
Built for a young real estate developer and his family, the home’s massing and profile were devised to meet local codes, which included a specified setback and a roof configuration that did not cut off a passing pedestrian’s view of the sky.
The headquarters for Spinneybeck | FilzFelt have been redesigned to reinvent the ample, full height industrial space as both functional workplace as well as product display for their growing range of materials and architectural products collection.
Nambé collaborates with the world’s most esteemed designers to develop products that bring function and style into the home. From The British Museum in London to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Nambé pieces are exhibited in renowned galleries around the world.
