This project consisted of two waterfront apartments backing onto Gunnamatta Bay.
Working with longstanding clients, it was a close relationship that allowed us to push the boundaries of traditional multi-residential living by developing individualized schemes that targeted different markets.
For the top level apartment (showcased) it is spatially designed to accommodate the modern Australian way of living. The open plan kitchen, living & dining spaces are positioned to capitalize on the spectacular view of the bay. The apartment is drenched in sun with highlight windows and floor to ceiling doors.
The layout allows for our client to live, for the most part of his day, in the front half of the apartment where each room encapsulates the amazing views. The back half is for when his grandchildren or friends and family come to visit, featuring a cozy family room and the guest bedrooms.
As our client is a single gentleman and downsizer, we used a refined palette of classic decorative features to juxtapose the contemporary skeleton of the building. Rich timber herringbone floors and iconic furniture selections create refined and sophisticated areas. The design features sleek but classic finishes and with an edge of masculinity.
Echoing the quality of the scheme and its prime position, this apartment has been designed to feel luxurious with a high level of diverse detail that creates a unique feeling which is both contemporary and timeless.
Although categorised as multi-residential living, Allure has been created to feel as if it is a completely separate entity to its counterpart. Each home has it’s own characteristics, and through the carefully considered interior finishes and furnishings, offers a unique living experience.
